Call for papers
Papers on new and cutting edge, innovative techniques for the characterization of bituminous materials gaining new insights into current issues such as aging, moisture, and temperature are sought. The area of research is not limited to application in road pavements; contributions from other areas of bituminous materials are welcome. Authors interested in submitting a paper are invited to prepare a 6-page document
and send it by April 10, 2018 to Rilem-CMB@tu-bs.de .
The contribution should include motivation, objectives, materials and methods and the most important findings of the research together with a maximum of 3 figures and/or tables.
Papers must be written and presented in English. Proceedings will be published online and available under SpringerLink. The 20 best contributions will be selected for oral presentation while the remaining papers will be presented in a poster session.
A selection of the 6 most significant contributions will be invited to submit an extended version for consideration in the International Journal of
Road Materials and Pavement Design - RMPD (Taylor and Francis) which is indexed according to the Science Citation Index Expanded. All other papers will have the option to be published in a special edition of
the Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering – JTTE (English Edition) (Elsevier).
